In recent years, we have been witnesses to the emergence of a design expression that, in spite of its powerful presence in all visual communications media, still has not been given a name. This new age Art Nouveau manifests itself as an omnipresent obsession with botanical motifs which, after many decades of domination of a disinclined-to-ornament retro-modernistic philosophy of design, has appeared rather unexpectedly.
